    1. Hey, ich lese gerade Tintenherz auf Deutsch! Es ist toll, eine Geschichte zu lesen, die nicht so ernsthaft literarisch ist, wie die, die wir im Senior Sem gelesen haben :)

    6. Brian - Ich kann's mir vorstellen. :) Übrigens, herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Studiumabschluss!

Danielle - Ha! Well, if you make it to San Francisco, I'll buy us two.

pinkapplecore - Not quite. The sailplane kind, not the foot-launched kind.

Milli - I used to be a German major. Still love German. Yes, I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Erin - Lunch with my dad in the redwood grove in the botanical gardens here. :)

Jenica - Whew! But yes, there is NO time like summer for reading. A job would be nice. Good luck to us.

geekspawn - Sounds most admirable. I'm sure you've been pondering up to those resolutions for a while.

    7. Play a ton of Frisbee (and get lots better at it), continue to have nice, normal, unintimidated conversations with guys, get deep in Scripture, and really writing on a project again. <3

    11. Edge - Ooh, what's the project?

Je Reve - Ah, macarons and macaroons are vair different, more than the one letter would suggest! However, I may be in the mood for those sometime...

Noel - How much longer in Albania?

    13. Great goals! I really want to try making macarons as well, but I've never had one! I don't know what they're supposed to taste like or their texture, so I'm a little nervous about trying.

    14. Danielle - Email me with the dates?

Debbie - Oh, more's the pity! No snooty/cutesy bakeries around you? They're sweet, with a sort of shell on the outside that bruises/breaks easily, but soft inside.

    15. bikram yoga, let's do it... although it scares me (and i feel resistance almost every time, though they claim it is a great "cure" or help for depression AND a sort of "miracle practice" for all sorts of body ailments and "diseases" and conditions and such...

and the promise of weight loss, BLAH, to which i say: bah humbug! (and i always ate more when i practiced, like a LOT more... i was ravenous, and i am skeptical of its "calorie-burning" claims anyway)

but it feels like intense meditation + physical at the same time

but at the same time i sometimes pushed myself way too hard, would actually end up getting my back hurting (like through my ribs, a literal pain) and getting rashes from the sweat.

BUT... it relieved sooo much stress (which i didn't even admit was stress back then) and did great for my shoulders. but i got really perfectionist and ED-relapse-y about it, so i'm cautious of restarting and wanting to be crazy and go "OK NOW I HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY DAY / OR TWICE EVERY DAY !!! THAT'S A CHALLENGE"

i cannot uphold any daily practice, even writing, the rigidity kills me...

      the parenthetical never ends!
