Things that are making me happy

being extra freckled from vacation.

when Liv Bambola gets righteously angry.

finally coming up with a better organization system for my negatives than just throwing them in a drawer.

"meat"balls (textured vegetable protein). so easy! take it out of the fridge, roll 'em into shape, and brown for a minute or two in a frying pan. so tasty!

much more productive days thanks to a little time pressure. (I'm heading back to school next weekend and won't be back in San Francisco again until mid-semester break.)

I was buying a package of little boy cookies, and the cashier man told me I needed to spend $2 more so I could charge it. I asked how much the package of film behind his head cost. he said, "Actually, you need a special camera for this..." and I saw it was 110 CARTRIDGE FILM! now I can play around with my dad's old seventies point-and-shoot! [pictured above!] cashier man took a little convincing before he believed I knew what I was talking about. anyways, SERENDIPITY! now I just need to buy a couple flash cubes on eBay.

trips across the Golden Gate with my wonderful friend and fellow SF blogger, Odessa.

creek-wading.

old Jewel songs.

there was this one song one of my dance teachers used during warm-ups for several months back in...2005? which I loved but never knew the name of. the other day I randomly found it on 8track. classic WIN. it's "Ghostwriter" by RJD2.

a message from a lovely fellow Etsy seller asking if I was interested in trading some of my prints for one of her jewelry pieces!

having antibiotics for my ankle which got infected after being cut/bitten by something in the ocean. it's pretty great living in the age of not-getting-my-foot-amputated.
