Yay change

I came up with the current name for this blog back in 2007 without much thought, and I've been wanting to change it for quite a while now.

I finally came up with something that I'm wholly happy with. :)

And I decided to register my own domain at the same time. My new address is http://www.tangerine-eater.com

I would be much obliged if you would update your links. So obliged, in fact, that you should tell me if you do so, and leave me a comment with the address of the page where I can find this updated link. Because I might decide to do a drawing and randomly choose one or more of these saintly link-updaters and give them presents. You never know.

^ That paragraph was important. Stop skimming, skimmers.

To my special fellow RSS rats: HERE [http://feeds.feedburner.com/eatingatangerine] is the new feed.

Explanation of the new title to follow soon.

  2. gah....grumbles...sigh...phew

apparently i'm not as tech-savvy as I thought I was. It took me a around 10 minutes of frustration to figure out how to get the feed link hahaha. I just copied the url and when I updated the blog list you went to the bottom with nothing.."well that can't be right" so I went back and what do you know there is the link right there in the message...

    face palm!!!

    Anywhoooo it's updated!!!

  6. Oh yikes...I dunno wot t'do! Help!
Do I copy the new url, paste it on my dashboard and make friends with you all over again, or what?

I'm pleased you got a hundred buckaroonies, but am quite amazed that the boss didn't want you. Still, as you said, it was one of life's rich experiences. Or perhaps not very rich...but still, an experiences nonetheless.

By the way, you do paint the most wondrous images with your words. For example, this is just....just..well.. breathtaking:

"My littlest cousin's brown feet in their saltwater sandals making their way in and out of the patio's latticed shadows...

And I am shaking out the tablecloth in the warm wind this Southern California sky's exhale, and she is shrieking and running and I nearly catch her in its lace..."

You could always write a novel now that you have been made redundant from the coffeeshop. I pretty darn sure it would be in stellar position in the Times Review of Books.

  12. *frantically updates*

The word verification is "cohot," which is so close to "cohort" I had to say something.

  13. I'm so backward with computers that all I can do is read your posts, but I always enjoy them and will continue to find your site and do so.

Also may I express my envy that you're fluent in German. So you can read Rilke in the original? That would be, literally, heavenly....

  14. Shelley - Thank you so much. Yes, I love German. I'm not completely fluent (yet), but enough to read...and his is much, much better in the original.
