Bird with a pretty mouth, bird with songs to shout

I sobbed four sobs and stopped; lying in the dry fountain I prayed the prayer of a zombie girl. A corpse but with headphones, but resurrection, again and again; we are all named Redemption.

At present: water drips from my lips, copper settles around my wrists. I take off my shoes and sing with my great cloud of witnesses. I wouldn't take back any of it.

You?

  2. Hehe, yes good. I really do like it... I saw it on twitter earlier and I like the elaboration and context of a sentence.

  5. Danielle - I never know how much to put on Twitter and how much to save for something longer...:)

Anonymous - Yes? Listening has its time to be sure. And it's a gift. So thank you.

Je Reve - My friend was saying how Redempcion is a legitimate name in Spanish-speaking countries and how she would totally name her daughter that if she lived in one....I would too.

  6. I don't take back. I don't know if you can. There's this quote from a movie i like about a woman dying very slowly who says "You don't even regret the life you aren't going to have because by then you'll be dead. The dead don't feel anything. Not even regret."
even though I am not dying, I still think about this a lot.
