I am not a vlogger: on cracking joints

But I do like talking to cameras. Slash, people who can't hear me yet.

  1. I do crack my joints. It started just with my finger knuckles, spread to my thumbs and other joints in my finger, and now I crack my neck, back, elbows, hips, knees (not on purpose, my knees randomly decide to crack when I walk down stairs...) and ankles. I cannot for the life of me crack my toes. I mean, I could, but for some reason I am more protective of my toes.
I am trying to stop. But it is not working.

  2. I do not crack anything intentionally. Sometimes my knees crack just because I bent them or something, but that's it. It grosses me out slightly when people do it. It's not the noise that bothers me, really, it's watching them contort themselves in order to make it crack. Ew. So I tend to look away when someone's about to start cracking things.

  4. Helloooooo Holly! You don't sound anything like I thought you would! I crack my neck and back heaps and I kinda hate it mainly just because I wasn't always that way and it basically sounds like I am breaking myself! Yikes! I have never cracked my fingers.. I am afraid I will pull them off, seriously! But, yes.. once you start you can't stop! :)

  5. Holly darling, I love you so much.

I crack my neck. All the time. Really, I ought to just go to a chiropractor because my neck is always all knotted up, but mine is quite expensive and we're already paying for one of my sisters to be there so.. yeah. I also crack my fingers... that's it, though, my friend's mom is always offering to crack my back for me and I absolutely put my foot down because I am terrified of other people being in charge of my joints. I love the sound, actually..

  6. The Pieces - Hellooooo Sharni! That's not quite how I sound 'cause that's not my accent, but. You know. :) Yes, I do refuse to get started on my knuckles...I consider myself lucky that they haven't started cracking of their own accord; if they did I probably wouldn't be able to control myself.

geekspawn - Nawww. *glomps* I agree the sound is terrifically satisfying coming from one's own joints, but I can't remember what I think when I hear it on other people.
