Erin - The week that the blizzard snow started melting (and refreezing, and remelting), I passed a boy on the stairs. He said, "Everything is melting." He continued from the staircase above me: "Spring is coming." Then, more distantly still: "Aslan is on the move." Only at Wheaton.
That's it! That's the feeling I was trying to identify.
